Gary & Andrea Yelen have been living in Nowa Nowa on Lake Tyers for the last 15 years.

Gary has made his living as an artist in all that time, from his gorgeous gallery. Lately we’ve been working more on arts projects which take us all around East Gippsland – and bring all sorts of fabulous artists to our home & studio gallery. Most of that work is done through our arts consultancy Red Tractor Art.

We currently have two accommodation options available – our lakeside cabin here in Nowa Nowa (pictured above) and a beach shack at Lake Tyers Beach, but we plan to offer more over the next few months.

Each week Rob Andy, a local Indigenous guide, conducts his Culture in the Catchment Tour, bringing small groups by kayak to our Gallery via Lake Tyers. This is a fantastic tour that takes around 3 hours as Rob leads the group along the stunning waterway. We serve lunch at the Gallery at around 1pm. Bookings are essential.
